Language Access

The BPDA seeks to shape a more prosperous, resilient and vibrant city for all. Through our language access initiatives, our goal is to ensure that all Bostonians, regardless of the languages they speak, have equal access to information and participation.

The BPDA’s Language Access Plan (LAP) outlines the steps we are taking to ensure language and communication access are at the forefront of our community engagement strategy. Providing translation and interpreting services that reflect the needs of our distinct neighborhoods allows LEP Bostonians the opportunity to engage in the conversation around shaping the future of our city.
