Project Description

The proposed development at 52 Plympton Street would replace two underutilized buildings with a seven-story, approximately 44-unit multi-family residential building located in the South End’s EDA South sub-district and in the Protection Area of the South End Landmark District. The project includes a fully accessible ground floor artist live-work component comprising eight affordable live-work units designed specifically to support artists, paired with a multi-purpose gallery and workshop space with direct access to a rear courtyard. A below-grade parking garage will include approximately 44 bike parking spaces and 19 vehicle parking spaces for residents and 9 curbside bike spaces for visitors.
