Public Comment Period Open on Draft Upham's Corner Station Area Plan

Mar 06, 2014

The Draft Upham's Corner Station Area Plan, which was presented to the community at an Open House last week, is open to public comment through March 12, 2014.

The Plan is part of the City of Boston's ongoing Fairmount Indigo Planning Initiative, which reimagines the Fairmount Commuter Rail line as a local transit amenity which will catalyze community and economic growth around stations. Over the past year, the BRA's Planning Division has worked with consultants to conduct community workshops and public meetings to develop a shared vision for the Upham's Corner Station Area. A Working Advisory Group (WAG) comprised of local residents, business owners, and stakeholders also helped guide the study and plan.
