Restoration Hardware Returning to the Back Bay

Luxury retailer Restoration Hardware announced it will open a new location at 234 Berkeley Street, a prominent historic building in the Back Bay that has been vacant since 2010. “We are delighted that Restoration Hardware will create an extraordinary destination in an extraordinary building on an extraordinary street,” said Mayor Thomas M. Menino. The building was constructed in 1863 and originally housed the New England Museum of Natural History.  Restoration Hardware left its Boylston Street location in 2008.  An opening date has not yet been announced.
