Final Zoning Recommendations for Harrison Albany Zoning Area Presented

BRA planners presented the final plan for new zoning guidelines in the neighborhood around Harrison Avenue and Albany Street in the South End at a public meeting this week. If adopted they will guide the future of development there. The recommendations are the result of the Harrison-Albany Corridor Strategic Plan, a two and a half year strategic planning process conducted with community members. The plan will be reviewed by the South End Landmarks District Commission in October before going to the BRA board for a vote in November and the zoning commission in January. Map of the district
