Hyde Park Neighborhood Strategic Plan Update

The Hyde Park Strategic Neighborhood Plan Advisory Group and the Boston Redevelopment Authority will host a community meeting on Wednesday, June 15th at 6:30PM to discuss the Hyde Park Neighborhood Strategic Plan.  The meeting will be held at the Hyde Park Municipal Building: 1179 River Street, Logan Square, Hyde Park. For the past two years, in collaboration with a Mayor-appointed Advisory Group and a team of planning consultants, the Boston Redevelopment Authority has been engaged in a strategic planning process for the Hyde Park neighborhood. This process has led to the creation of a Draft Neighborhood Strategic Plan.  Upon its completion, the Neighborhood Strategic Plan will inform the creation of a new zoning code article for Hyde Park in the coming months. Having reviewed the Draft Neighborhood Strategic Plan with the Advisory Group in a public meeting on May 23, 2011, the team will hold this public community meeting to report back to the community at large on its work and solicit feedback for final edits to the plan.  Please come to this event to share your thoughts on a variety of topics including: housing, transportation, traffic, parking, open space, as well as commercial, residential and industrial development.
