MIT Sloan Brings Together Gaming Industry Leaders

MIT Sloan School of Management‘s Busi­ness in Gam­ing Con­fer­ence (BiG) will bring together key industry gaming leaders on Friday, April 16, 2010.  Keynot­ing the 2nd annual BiG Con­fer­ence will be MMORPG (Mas­sive Mul­ti­player Online Role Play­ing Game) pio­neer Gor­don Wal­ton. He is cur­rently VP and co-Studio Gen­eral Man­ager at BioWare — Austin work­ing on Star Wars®: The Old Republic.

The overall economic impact of Boston's creative industries is over $10.7 billion in annual revenues. Digital media contributes $1.5 billion and the Boston-area video game industry contributes over $200 million in annual revenues representing 76 companies and more than 1,500 jobs to the greater Boston region.
