The Boston Planning Department is hosting a virtual public meeting for the proposed Article 80-B Large project located at 294 Washington Street in the Downtown neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Project Notification Form (PNF) that was filed and its potential impacts. The meeting will include a presentation followed by questions and comments from the public.
294 Washington Street Owner LLC (an applicant of the City of Boston's Office to Residential Conversion Program) proposes the conversion of an existing 11-story office building located at 294 Washington Street to residential use. Resulting in a new net residential total of 202,000 sqft and approximately 255 new residential rental units. The proposed office-to-residential conversion presents an opportunity to reposition an underutilized downtown commercial building as a vibrant residential address, with ground floor retail, in the heart of Boston’s Financial District.
