Project Description
2025 Notice of Project Change (NPC): This 2025 NPC project will replace the existing auto body shops and parking with a new residential building on a single lot, with approximately 173,909 SF of gross floor area and approximately 200 residential units. The project also includes 2,100 SF of ground floor retail space, 7,200 SF of outdoor amenity space and 63 garage parking spaces to serve the project’s residents. This project also includes IDP artist units and 2,000 SF of artist space to serve artists within the Allston community. No work is proposed for the previously approved 2 emery road site and it will remain under its current use. 2021 approved project: The Cambridge Street building would have seven floors and a gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 131,000 sf, with approximately 127 dwelling units, approximately 2,400 sf of retail / restaurant / services space, and approximately 80 accessory parking spaces. The Emery Road building would also have seven floors, a GFA of approximately 33,000 sf, approximately 39 dwelling units, and no on-site parking.
