The first amendment to Berklee’s 2022-2024 IMP; the proposed Institutional Master Plan Notification Form (IMPNF) would amend Berklee’s IMP to include the building at 1249 Boylston Street, in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston, as new leased space. Berklee’s proposed project would renovate 1249 Boylston Street and convert all three floors, plus the basement level, into academic space, with 1,800 square feet on the ground floor for public retail use (the Project). Further details regarding the Project are included in the attached IMPNF. The Project does not meet Article 80’s thresholds for Small Project Review or Large Project Review, and no other changes to Berklee’s IMP are proposed.
