Wentworth Institute of Technology, Inc. (“Wentworth” or the “University”) is a technology university with five schools focused on engineering, computing, design, science, and management. The University consists of 31 acres of land between the Southwest Corridor and the Back Bay Fens. Wentworth previously filed its Institutional Master Plan approved by the Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BPDA”) in 2011, as amended in 2017 and extended in 2021 for two years (“Prior IMP”). Upon expiration of the Prior IMP, in March 2023, Wentworth filed its Institutional Master Plan Notification Form (“IMPNF”) on March 10, 2023. Wentworth is pleased to submit this Institutional Master Plan (“IMP”) to the BPDA to commence the review process pursuant to Section 80D-8 and 80D-5(2) of the Boston Zoning Code, 1956 Mass. Acts c. 665 (“Code”).
