Access to Capital Workshop

On November 22, 2013, the BRA's Business Development team will offer a free Access to Capital Workshop at District Hall in Boston's Innovation District. The workshop, which will run from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, is aimed at entrepreneurs, startups, and growing small businesses that are navigating the complex world of capital access.

The workshop will cover equity financing, bank financing, and other early stage capital alternatives. All presentations will be delivered by experienced speakers who have either counseled businesses or started businesses themselves. Following the presentations, workshop participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the experts in a relaxed setting.

The BRA's Business Development Division, which was formalized in 2013, works closely with Boston's business community to support and grow operations of all sizes. While the Access to Capital Workshop is aimed at newer businesses, the Division offers access to capital counseling and other guidance to businesses at any stage of development that are already located in, or interested in locating in, the City of Boston.
