Resource and Information Center for Back Bay Businesses Open at the Park Plaza Hotel

Mayor Menino is actively reaching out to the hundreds of Back Bay businesses impacted by the Boston Marathon tragedy, making services available to help affected businesses reopen quickly. The City of Boston’s Business Assistance Center has opened in the lobby of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel to respond to any business, employee, or vendor inquiry.  This satellite office will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17th through Friday, April 19th. City officials from the Inspectional Services Department, Boston Redevelopment Authority, and Department of Neighborhood Development will be on hand to issue building permits, respond to questions about reopening and required inspections, and other additional business services. In addition, a dedicated business representative will be reachable at the Mayor’s Hotline at 617-635-4500.
