Welcome, CareCloud, to the Innovation District

CareCloud, a Miami-based healthcare IT company, celebrated the opening of its first Boston office in the Innovation District.  BRA Director Peter Meade, on behalf of Mayor Menino, joined CareCloud CEO Albert Santalo, and CareCloud Chief Technology Officer, John Walsh, at the celebration.

CareCloud, one of the fastest growing healthcare IT companies in the U.S., is providing the latest in cloud-based practice management, electronic health record (EHR) and medical billing software and services to medical groups.  CareCloud chose Boston because of its established healthcare ecosystem, talent pool, and unmatched local government support.  The company employs a total of 160 employees and grew over 140% in the last year.  CareCloud's Boston office will grow from 14 employees to 35-50 employees this year and 100 employees by the end of 2014.
