BRA receives Project Notification Form for 3521-3529 Washington Street

SSG Development & New Boston Ventures filed a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the BRA for a LEED certified, mix-use development project at 3521-3529 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain.  The developers seek to replace the existing warehouse buildings, used car dealership, and paved space, with 42 residential units housed in three buildings with parking, a four-story 130,000 s.f. storage facility, 28,000 s.f. of retail space, and additional open space for the retailers and neighborhood residents.  SSG Development & New Boston Ventures hope to include Zipcar Spaces, a bike share site, and charging stations for electric cars.  The proposed project will create approximately 250 construction jobs and 70 permanent jobs.
