Getfused moves to the Innovation District
Aug 23, 2011
Joining the growing cluster of business which now call the Innovation District home, digital marketing agency, Getfused, has announced its relocation to 285 Summer Street. Getfused provides digital marketing strategies, website design, content management systems, custom application development, mobile application development, and search engine optimization services to clients around the world, including Boston Private Bank and Trust Company, Harpoon Brewery, Legal Sea Foods, Big Sister of Greater Boston, the UFC, and The New England Patriots. "As a company that is always looking for new ideas, new talent and cutting-edge solutions, Getfused was drawn to the Innovation District," said President Steve M. Mammone. "We share Mayor Menino’s belief that the concentration of world-class companies, entrepreneurial talent, first-rate infrastructure and great new amenities will mean growth and success for innovators like Getfused." “I am pleased to welcome the Getfused team to Boston, and to growing mix of companies that call the Innovation District home. The Getfused team recognizes the value of an atmosphere that encourages shared innovation and collaboration, and I look forward to their continued growth and success in their ne w location,” said Mayor Thomas M. Menino. "As Getfused has steadily grown and expanded our services in the past several years, we have seen the value of being connected to companies and individuals who are committed to best-in-class solutions," said CEO Spencer Collier. "We are excited by the energy and potential for new partnerships that our move to the Innovation District presents us." Most recently, Getfused has partnered with FableVision (ID neighbor) and Technology for Autism to create iPad and iPhone applications to help autistic users learn, communicate, and interact more easily. “FableVision is thrilled to be in Boston’s Innovation District, and we're sure Getfused will agree,” said Paul Reynolds, CEO of FableVision. “This entrepreneurial community hub has already launched a Getfused-FableVision partnership - being supported by City of Boston - to help launch an eLearning/mobile app platform for Technology for Autism Now (TAN). These are the types of creative collaborations the Innovation District will continue to spark.” TAN Founder Marie Duggan said, “With the world’s best healthcare institutions and the most cutting-edge technology companies, it makes sense that Boston would be the hub for innovation to help autistic children and adults interact more fully with the world around them. I am excited to have found partners like Getfused and FableVision to help move good ideas from the drawing board and into the hands of the people who truly need it.” Mayor Menino thanked Getfused for spearheading the TAN collaboration. “I look forward to seeing the fruits of this partnership, which I am confident will change the lives of people around the world. I’m proud it all started here.”
