The data show us that the city's population is growing, diverse, young, and well-educated. This report was revised to use the boundaries for the West End and Downtown that went into effect in 2014. This is a three part report analyzing Boston's children, their households, and their householders by selected characteristics, using the 2007-2011 American Community Survey data. It provides data on race, ethnicity, nativity, family type, poverty status, schooling, language, neighborhoods and more. It also maps children living in poverty by selected demographic characteristics. This report was revised to use the boundaries for the West End and Downtown that went into effect in 2014. See the original report using the previous boundaries
