In accordance with the Charlestown Navy Yard Master Plan, the BPDA released an Request for Proposals (RFP) in September 2020 for the ground lease and redevelopment of Building 108 in the Historic Monument Area of the Charlestown Navy Yard.
The original building is due for demolition, projected to be complete in early 2023, due to its deteriorating condition and the environmental contaminants present in the building.
The BPDA designated Power House Partners as the developer of Building 108 on February 11, 2021

We received two proposals that we are currently evaluating. We invited community members to attend a virtual public meeting on December 3 at 6:00 PM, where the proponents presented their proposals to the community.
