In accordance with the Charlestown Navy Yard Master Plan, the BPDA released an Request for Proposals (RFP) in November 2019 for the ground lease and redevelopment of Building 108 in the Historic Monument Area of the Charlestown Navy Yard.
The original building is due for demolition in summer 2020 due to its deteriorating condition and the environmental contaminants present in the building.
We received one responsive proposal, submitted by Power House Partners. We are currently evaluating the proposal and we welcome community feedback.
We invite community members to:
- review a summary of the RFP guidelines;
- review the Power House Partners development submission;
- review the Power House Partners design submission;
- submit comments.
The comment period is open from March 26, 2020 to April 16, 2020. Given the current pandemic, we will be open to extending the comment period if requested.
