This is a Boston Planning Department Public Meeting to discuss the proposed project located at 52 Plympton Street in the South End neighborhood. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Small Project Review Application filed on June 27th and its potential impacts.

The proposed development at 52 Plympton Street would replace two underutilized buildings with a seven-story, approximately 44-unit multi-family residential building located in the South End’s EDA South sub-district and in the Protection Area of the South End Landmark District.
The project includes a fully accessible ground floor artist live-work component comprising eight affordable live-work units designed specifically to support artists, paired with a multi-purpose gallery and workshop space with direct access to a rear courtyard. A below-grade parking garage will include approximately 44 bike parking spaces and 19 vehicle parking spaces for residents and 9 curbside bike spaces for visitors.
