Onein3 Spotlight: Fresh Truck

Daniel Clarke and Josh Trautwein are a dynamic duo; a business guy and a social services guy; Northeastern graduates; activists; business owners. Somewhere between graduation and 2013, Clarke and Trautwein have evolved from college students to ONEin3ers with a dream. A dream to create a mobile market to bring fresh produce to the neighborhoods of Boston. Fresh-Truck   This creative solution uses an overhauled school bus to bring produce, including most fruits and vegetables, to local communities, beginning with Charlestown, and expanding as the business stabilizes. Eventually the truck will maintain a steady, weekly schedule to hit more Boston neighborhoods.Their business seeks to provide better quality produce to underserved areas for a smaller price tag than the average supermarket. The idea? A mobile farmers market. Clarke and Trautwein are committed to promoting community health and health literacy while providing the Boston community with fresh, affordable produce via a Fresh Truck.
