The Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston, d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency (hereinafter, the “EDIC”) is issuing an Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) entitled “Roadway Improvements at Black Falcon Avenue & Terminal Street” within the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park. This IFB is issued pursuant to Massachusetts General Law c. 30, § 39M, as may be amended. The project number for this project is 1306.
The lowest responsible and eligible bidder for this project will enter into a contract with the EDIC to perform the Scope of Work as listed and shown within the provided bid documents, including addenda. The work generally consists of cold planning and new bituminous overlay of approximately 3 inches in depth and 3000 linear feet of roadway on Black Falcon Avenue, Terminal Street, and intersecting roadways. This work includes replacement or installs of raised and flush concrete sidewalks. The work also includes replacement or install of street lighting, replacement or install of Americans with Disabilities (“ADA”) compliant handicap ramps, adjustment of castings, replacement or install of curbing, signage, striping and all other appurtenances necessary.
