The proposed development before you is 601 Newbury Street in Fenway. 601 Newbury Street LLC proposes to construct an approximately 45,068 square foot development. The Project Site currently contains a 3 story structure. The Proposed Project will construct 4 stories atop the existing structure for a total of 7 stories. The project will contain 71 compact living residential rental units, 9 of which will be affordable, and 86 bicycle parking spaces. As a part of the compact living policy, the Proposed Project will provide a sufficient amount of shared space throughout the building that will include a fitness room/gym, a dining room with kitchenette, a work space/meeting room, a theater room/media room, and an exterior landscaped area and patio.
