49-51 D Street Residential Project

The Proponent proposes to redevelop the 14,541 square-foot Project Site, which is currently occupied by a two-story brick industrial building and accessory surface parking, into a new nine-story mixed-use building consisting of up to seventy-five multi-family residential living units, with approximately 1,200 square feet of ground-level commercial space serving the local community, all totaling approximately 75,000 square feet of gross floor area. The new building would be served by up to twenty garage parking spaces, including up to eighteen residential and two commercial spaces, along with seventy-five resident bicycle parking spaces within the building and fifteen visitor bicycle spaces, all in conformance with City guidelines, including the requirements of PLAN: South Boston Dorchester Avenue.
