The BPDA is hosting an Impact Advisory Group (IAG) Meeting for the 10 Malcolm X Boulevard project located in Roxbury. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Project Notification Form. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A and comments from the IAG and then the general public. Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, IAG members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.

10 MX Owner, LLC, a joint venture between SV + Partners, Trax Development and Caste Capital (the “Proponent”), proposes the redevelopment of the property located at 10 Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury’s Nubian Square. The existing 35,000 sq. ft. office building on the Site (the former Roxbury Boys Club) will remain and be preserved by the Proponent. The Proponent is proposing to construct two new buildings on the project site, a new 6-story, 111-unit rental building with ground floor retail space on Malcolm X Blvd., approximately 105,000 sq. ft., and a new 4-story building on Dudley Street, approximately 22,000 sq. ft., 21-unit 100% home ownership building on Dudley Street. The proposal will have up to 54 spaces: 21 spaces for the existing commercial building tenants and 33 spaces for residential uses.
