Description:

The BPDA is hosting a Public Meeting for the 1208C VFW Parkway project located in West Roxbury. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposal and Project Notification Form.  The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A and comments from the Impact Advisory Group (IAG).

Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, IAG members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.

The Proponent proposes demolishing the existing commercial office structure and developing a five-story multi-family building of approximately 62,140 GSF. The building will contain 55 rental units with 8 IDP units. There will also be 55 surface parking spaces and 56 bicycle parking spaces.
