The Roxbury Strategic Master Plan Oversight Committee (RSMPOC) was developed to oversee projects that fall under the Roxbury Strategic Master Plan. Since the launch of PLAN: Dudley Square the RSMPOC meetings also include progress reports on the initiative.

All meetings are open to the public and community input is desired. The location of the RSMPOC meetings has changed for the rest of 2019 and will be held in the evening on the first Monday of the month at the Bolling Building in the 2nd Floor School Committee Room. PLAN: Dudley Square workshops are typically every third Monday of the month, location varies. For more information on the upcoming meeting, including the draft agenda and all materials from previous RSMPOC meetings, please visit

Meeting Update
At this RSMPOC the BPDA provided a planning update and reviewed the contents of the RFPs for Blair Lot, Parcel 8, and Nawn Factory. The RFPs were then voted on, by the RSMPOC, to be consiered by the BPDA Board for release later this month. Final copies of the RFPs will be made available over the coming weeks and the community will be notified when they are released.

Attendees also requested that the BPDA share a process diagram of how these RFPs will eventually become developments. Here is a link to the Article 80 process, which commences once the Project Review Committee recommends developers for each parcel. We will share a document that outlines the PRC process over the coming weeks.

Meeting notes will be posted within two weeks of the meeting. For further information, see the document bar to the right of this page.

Interested in joining a Project Review Committee (PRC)?
As part of the review process project review committees (PRCs) will be formed to evaluate the developer submissions based on the criteria developed through the PLAN: Dudley Square process and outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFPs). After proposals are selected, PRCs continue to monitor project progress from tentative designation until the buildings are ready to open.
We are currently accepting nominations to serve on the PRCs for Nawn Factory, Parcel 8, and Blair Lot. If you are interested in serving on the PRC, or would like to nominate someone to the PRC, please fill out this nomination form as completely as possible. Alternatively, you can find a printed form here.
