Description:

On August 28, 2019, the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) received a Notice of Project Change (NPC) from the legal representatives of 270 Baker LLC (the “Proponent”), the owner and developer of the land located at 270 Baker Street.

The Project was originally approved by the BPDA Board on September 14, 2017. The approved Project proposed to re-develop the site occupied by a commercial office building; this included subdividing the existing site into two separate sites. One site will maintain the existing commercial office space building with sufficient parking.

The other site will consist of two new multi-family residential buildings containing 60 units with 105 residential parking spaces. With the NPC, the Proponent now proposes certain ownership, tenure, affordability and design changes to the portion of the Project to be developed on the residential site.

At this time, the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) is continuing to host public meetings in a virtual setting for the health, safety, and accessibility of Boston residents. For more information and updates, visit bostonplans.org.
