Description: PLEASE NOTE NEW MEETING DATE. Boston University ("BU") has submitted a Project Notification Form ("PNF") for the renovation of Myles Standish Hall and Annex ("Proposed Project"). The Proposed Project, as described in the approved 2013-2023 Boston University Charles River Campus Institutional Master Plan, will include the renovation of an existing, approximately 203,000 gross square foot student residence facility. The Proposed Project will provide a renovated interior with 730 student beds and student amenity space. In addition, the Proposed Project will rehabilitate the exteriors of Myles Standish Hall and the Annex and provide public realm improvements including new sidewalks, benches, street trees, pedestrian ramps, bicycle racks, and a 6,400 square foot open space plaza to the east of the site. In addition, BU has submitted an Institutional Master Plan Notification Form ("IMPNF") to temporarily lease space in 1047 Commonwealth Avenue to house students during the renovation of Myles Standish Hall and Annex. The Boston University Task Force will meet briefly after the public meeting in same location.
