The Office of Workforce Development (OWD) is seeking an experienced Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training provider to provide Theory and Behind-the-Wheel training for Boston residents seeking a CDL Class B license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Office of Workforce Development expects the provider to have their own vehicles for training and the training provider must use City Academy's CDL training course at UMass Boston to ensure the accessibility of CDL training to Boston residents. Program graduates will be prepared to enter into employment with employers such as Boston Water and Sewer to ensure water and wastewater systems reliability and the City of Boston to strengthen emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
