BRA approves Boston University $50m, 99,600 sq ft East Campus Student Service Center project

Boston University received BRA board approval for its $50 million East Campus Student Service Center project to be located at 100 Bay State Road. The six-story, 99,600 square foot center consists of a 900-seat student dining facility located in the basement, first and second floor levels, and a University academic and career advising center on the third through sixth floor levels. Additionally, a multi-function room will be developed in the lower level with a 25-seat coffee shop and a 150-seat multi-purpose room. The project is expected to break ground in the second quarter of 2011 and create 150 construction jobs.
