The City of Boston Planning Department is hosting a virtual IAG Meeting for the proposed Carney Hospital (2100-2110 Dorchester Avenue) project located in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed project and its potential impacts. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A open to the public.
The following description was provided by the Proponent:
The proposed redevelopment would replace the existing buildings, which are vacant and outdated, with a five-building program comprising approximately 930,000 square feet of gross floor area. Specifically, the proposed Project is expected to include approximately 290,000 sf of health care uses, approximately 200 units (220,000 sf) of senior housing, approximately 300 units (320,000 sf) of multi family housing, approximately 50,000 sf of educational uses, and approximately 50,000 sf of retail usage. The Project is expected to include subsurface parking garages for approximately 535 parking spaces.
