Description: The BPDA is hosting a meeting of the Impact Advisory Group (IAG) for the proposed project at 475-511 Dorchester Avenue in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss project updates included in the Draft Project Impact Report (DPIR) filed with the BPDA on March 16, 2022. The meeting will include a 30-minute presentation followed by 45 minutes of discussion among the IAG and 15 minutes of public Q&A. Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, IAG members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members. The proposed project consists of the redevelopment of 9.1 acres of land along Dorchester Avenue into a multi-building, mixed-use development with a variety of uses including lab/research, residential, office, and other commercial uses, new public open space, new roadways, and public realm improvements.
