The Boston Planning Department is hosting a virtual Impact Advisory Group (IAG) Meeting for the proposed 776 Summer Street Phase 2 project located in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Phase 2 Development Plan and Master Plan Amendment that was filed and their potential impacts. The meeting will include a presentation followed by questions and comments from the IAG.
Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different than that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, IAG members work closely with Boston Planning Department staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.
The IAG serves as the advisory body for the 776 Summer Street project. This meeting will be focused on the Phase 2 Development Plan and Master Plan Amendment Please note that this is a Impact Advisory Group (IAG) meeting. The meeting will begin with a 30-minute presentation of the project by the development team, followed by a discussion and Q&A from the IAG,
