Little Mystic Channel Harborwalk Extension

The Little Mystic Channel Harborwalk Extension project proposes to complete a missing section of the Boston Harborwalk along the Little Mystic Channel, located in Charlestown, Massachusetts along the northeast corner
of the Little Mystic Channel, abutting Terminal Street to the East, the Autoport to the North, and existing Harborwalk to the West. This parcel is known as Parcel P-8 under the Boston Redevelopment Authority. The Harborwalk extension will provide pedestrian connectivity in this area of Charlestown where there are several busy truck routes and limited public sidewalks. The proposed extension is located on BRA property that is currently vacant and not in use. The project also supports the public open space vision for the neighborhood along with other improvements of open space parcels around the Little Mystic Channel under the jurisdiction of Boston Public Schools and Boston Parks and Recreation Department, such as Barry Field, CHS Athletic Fields and Little Mystic Boat Ramp.
