Sit yourself down. Street Seats begins tomorrow!

It's free!   Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Gillette's Public Dock in Fort Point Channel, twenty new, innovative bench designs (courtesy of the international design competition, Street Seats, presented by Design Museum Boston and funded by the BRA's Fort Point Channel Pilot Grant) will be unveiled.  Take a seat, enjoy the view, walk Boston’s beautiful Fort Point Channel, and vote for your favorite bench.  The 20 Semi-Finalists and all 170+ entries are on view here.  These unique seats will be joined by food trucks, music, and tours, so make it a day to remember on Boston's waterfront.  Street Seats will be on display through October 2013.    DMB_StreetSeats_view_645px Thumbnail courtesy of @VLiTBHA
