The BRA and Boston Transportation Department (BTD) will share updates on the status of projects under review by the BRA and BTD.  The Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) will outline its Institutional Master Plan (IMP) proposal to be submitted to the BRA.  It includes: a 2nd Amendment to BCH’s IMP, and seeks approval to (i) add 86 parking spaces on an additional level of the existing Patient and Family Garage (located at the corner of Longwood and Blackfan Streets); (ii) construct a new clinical building to continue the Hospital’s effort to create an all-private room inpatient environment; and (iii) develop a mixed-use administrative office building and above ground parking facility to replace its surface parking lot at 819 Beacon Street (in The Fenway/Audubon Circle neighborhood).  The IMP/PNF may also include an ongoing study to construct a Combined Heat and Power facility (also referred to as ‘Co-Generation’), in the below-grade areas of its proposed, new clinical building, in an effort to attain greater energy efficiency and a ‘green’ LMA campus.   Fairmount Indigo Planning Initiative: Working Advisory Group Meeting

Update report from Upham's Corner Working Advisory Group on Fairmont Indigo Planning Initiative.   Edward W. Brooke Charter School Community Meeting

  The developer has filed a Notice of Project Change (NPC) for Lena Park Community Development Corporation (CDC) and the Edward W. Brooke Charter School project.  The proposal includes renovating vacant, existing buildings at 150- 160 American Legion Highway.   Lena Park CDC proposes to renovate part of the building to create a community center.   The Edward W. Brooke Charter School proposes to renovate and enlarge a portion of a building for its school. The renovations include reconfiguring the building interiors, replacing the building systems, and adding approximately 4,000 SF for a stairway and elevator.
