Apr 11, 2012

On Tuesday, Mayor Menino cut the ribbon on Boston's newest museum, the Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), giving the public an opportunity to explore MGH's medical milestones. The two-story museum will serve as the public entry of MGH's 18 acre campus with interactive video displays and stories of medical innovation exhibitions, lectures, seminars, and receptions.  The rooftop terrace will offer a garden filled respite with spectacular views of Beacon Hill.  To mark the 200th anniversary of MGH’s founding in 2011, the museum opened its doors for a special preview and dedication event in December 2011. The museum will open to the public beginning Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
