Description: The BPDA is hosting a Task Force meeting for the Northeastern IMP located in Roxbury. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss campus updates and future plans for the 840 Columbus Avenue Project. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A and comments. Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Task Force members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. Task Force meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and Task Force members. The proposed project within the IMP consists of a 25-story, approximately 468,500 sf mixed-use building containing a five-story podium of academic/office space, and approximately 810 student beds on the remaining 20 stories.
