Description:

The BPDA is hosting a public meeting for the 135 Bremen Street project, located in East Boston. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A and comments from the general public.

The previously approved project included a total of ninety-four (94) homeownership units that included twelve (12) IDP homeownership units. The current project remains the same and the proposed sizes and locations of the IDP units remain unchanged from the previous approval. No changes to the building footprint are being. The proposed changes to the project are a result of the approved building’s location directly above an MBTA train tunnel, which has created financial hardship as well as construction and structural concerns for both the proposed structure and infrastructure below.
