The Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”), doing business as the Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BPDA”), is soliciting responses to a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the redevelopment of Parcel 4, one parcel of vacant land located in the South End Urban Renewal Area, Project No. Mass. R-56, (the “Parcel”), and referred to as 142 Shawmut Avenue, South End. The Parcel is approximately 8,543 square feet. This RFP offers proponents an opportunity to submit proposals to redevelop the Parcel for the creation of a permanent open and green space, open to the public and walkable as opposed to vehicular in nature, with the intent of benefitting a future east/west pedestrian connection to Washington Street.
