Park At New England Aquarium
Downtown pocket park opportunity
The public park outside the New England Aquarium was developed by Frog Pond Foundation in order to add to the variety of green spaces down by the Waterfront and emphasize the important connection between the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the aquarium. In order to facilitate its creation, the BRA used eminent domain for a taking and land transfer, as well as discontinuances of portions of the surrounding streets.
