Description: Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) has postponed all in-person BPDA-held public meetings regarding Article 80 development projects and planning initiatives. This virtual public meeting is scheduled to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the proposed William Barton Rogers School Project ("the Project"). The Project involves the adaptive re-use of the historic school building into a residential mixed-income rental development with approximately 74 housing units, all of which will be affordable to households earning up to 100% of Area Median Income (“AMI”)” All residential units will be age-restricted housing for the 62+ population. In addition, the Project will include approximately 15 surface parking spaces; and will be constructed to high sustainability and energy efficiency standards with a proposed target - if feasible - of LEED Gold certifiability. How to Participate This meeting will be hosted online, using Zoom. Attendees must pre-register using this link, and will then receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the meeting.
