Description: Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England, Inc. and Beacon Communities LLC (“Proponent”) proposes the construction of a six story building on the south parking lot of Tai Tung Village residential development. The proposed building will contain 85 affordable rental units, ground floor non-residential space and ground floor/surface parking for approximately 40 vehicles. All of the dwelling units will be rented to households earning 60% or less of the area median income. Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Impact Advisory Group (IAG) members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.
