Description:

The Proponent proposes to subdivide the Project Site – one portion of the site would include the existing commercial office building and surface parking to meet the zoning requirements (approximately 70 spaces); the other portion of the site would be developed and include a three and a half story multi-family residential building. The multi-family building will extend along the western limits of the Project Site fronting on an extension of Simbroco Street. The new development will total approximately 80,000 square feet of residential use and underground parking. The residential program will consist of a total of 70 units of which 61 will be market rate and nine will be affordable. 105 parking spaces will be provided for the residential building, the majority of which will be included in sublevel parking under the residential building. Additional surface parking will be available for visitor parking and will be located in the commercial lot located on the northeast corner of the Project Site and on the interior driveway network. Site access will continue to be from the VFW Parkway and Simbroco Street.

Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different than that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Impact Advisory Group (IAG) members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.
